My name is Amy and I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I work with couples who either live in or are getting married in San Francisco and its surrounding areas. Read on below for a bit more about me!

What can a couple expect from working with you?

What I love about weddings is how they are all completely unique and a direct reflection of the couple. Whether I am involved from the beginning as a planner or coming in towards the end of the process as a coordinator, I want to sit down with both of you to get a feel for who you are, individually and as a couple. It is ultimately my job to be the voice of the couple when talking to vendors and on the day of the wedding, so I want to make sure that I know you well enough to be confident as that voice. Finally, what is most important to me as a planner and coordinator is that you are 100% worry-free on the day of your wedding and that every detail has been taken care of so that you can simply enjoy your time with family and friends.

Where did the name Hitch Perfect come from?

It's a play on a the term pitch perfect, which means having exactly the right tone or style. It also alludes to my musical background: I have a graduate degree in music performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and worked at the San Francisco Symphony for ten years, so my musical knowledge and classical connections are unmatched in the industry. How did you become a wedding planner?

Every job that I've had since I was in high school has given me the experience to be a wedding planner. I worked at Williams-Sonoma in the bridal registry department for 10 years seasonally, as a server for a catering company for several years, and have performed in wedding ceremonies and receptions as a professional flutist for over a decade. Combining all of my knowledge from those various jobs as well as a love of organization and a desire to make one of the most important days in a couple's life as special as possible just made sense.
